Web, e-commerce and booking
We design and build websites, portals, e-commerce platforms and online booking systems, and we keep them: hosting, updates and maintenance. A site left to itself ages fast.
The problem
An online shop that does not talk to your stock system turns every order into manual work, which was the thing it was meant to remove. And whoever takes bookings by phone loses the requests that arrive out of hours and rebuilds the calendar by hand every time something changes. The cost never reaches the accounts. It shows up in the empty slots.
Examples
What it looks like once it is handed over.
Not one project: below are six kinds of work that fall under this service, drawn one by one and shown two at a time. If yours resembles one of them, the starting point already exists.
E-commerce
The online shop wired into the warehouse
Catalogue, pricing and stock come from the back office rather than from a second set of records kept by hand. Payment, document and shipment all start from the same order.
- Payments and refunds
- Per-customer pricing
- Tracked shipping
Site and SEO
The site that has to be found and has to convert
A page that opens in under a second on a phone, written for the searches that bring customers rather than to please a score. One action, repeated where it belongs.
- Performance measured
- Written for search
- Two languages
Booking
The diary that fills itself
Real availability per person, room or piece of equipment, a deposit on confirmation and an automatic reminder. A cancellation frees the slot without anybody touching anything.
- A diary per resource
- Deposits online
- Reminders and cancellations
Private area
The part of the site you sign in to
Above the public pages, an area for registered customers: orders, documents, renewals and subscriptions, in the same design as the rest of the site and behind a single login.
- Registration and logins
- Order history
- Renewals and subscriptions
Shop app
The same shop, as an application
For people who buy often, an icon on the phone beats an address to remember: catalogue and orders already inside, payment in two taps, and a notification when the parcel leaves.
- On both stores
- Push notifications
- Payment in two taps
Site assistant
Who answers when the office is closed
Questions arriving from the site are answered straight away, out of your own pages and documents. When a person is needed, the conversation lands in the inbox already summarised.
- Answers from your own copy
- Handover to a person
- Nights and weekends
A drawing of the interface. The real installations sit behind a login, and that is where they stay.
What we build
Corporate sites and portals
A fast, accessible, indexable company presence with a content panel the office can use without calling us first.
Online retail
Catalogue, variants, tiered price lists, payments, shipping and returns. On an established platform or fully custom, depending on how unusual your way of selling is.
Online booking
Calendars with rules per resource, person, service and duration, upfront payments, cancellation policies and automated reminders. The complexity nearly always lives in the exceptions.
Customer areas
Dedicated access for clients, resellers and suppliers: personalised price lists, order history, documents, quick reordering.
Hosting and maintenance
Infrastructure, certificates, backups, monitoring and updates, with response times agreed in writing. No renewal date to remember.
Communication and campaigns
Content, social and advertising alongside the projects we build ourselves, once the product is ready and needs telling.
What we deliver
We deliver a site designed first in its content structure and then in its appearance, checked on real devices. The technical side of search ranking is included: structure, performance, readable addresses, structured data.
Notices, consent collection and cookie handling come set up to the law, hosting already configured, and training on the content panel. Where there is a calendar, the statistics on attendance, cancellations and capacity arrive on their own.
What is included
What comes with the work, and is not billed separately.
Software does not end on the day it is handed over. These are the terms we work under on every project, written down before signing rather than treated as an extra to quote for six months later.
12 months of support included
On every project we deliver, at no extra cost.
12 months of support included
Every project we deliver comes with twelve months of support in the price: defect fixes, security updates and the small adjustments that only show up once people are using it. It is not a separate retainer to sign.
GDPR, in writing
A data processing agreement under art. 28 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the list of sub-processors, privacy notices and consent capture. If the project touches special category data, the impact assessment happens before any code is written.
Encrypted, and hosted in Europe
Traffic always over TLS, data and backups encrypted at rest, credentials in a secrets store and never in the code. Infrastructure sits in European regions unless you ask otherwise and we record it.
Least access, and it is logged
Roles, permissions and a second factor on anything that touches your systems. Every access is named and recorded, and when the project closes our credentials are revoked: it is a line on the handover checklist.
Backups somebody has actually restored
Daily copies, a retention period stated in the contract, and restore drills on a separate environment. A backup nobody has ever read back is not a backup; it is a hope.
The code and the data stay yours
Source, credentials, infrastructure and data are your property from day one, with the documentation to pick them up. No technical or contractual lock if you decide to go elsewhere.
