About

We build software, and we take responsibility for it.

LivenBit is an Italian company that develops, designs, produces and commercialises business management software, SaaS applications and IT solutions for companies.

Why we exist

We started from a simple observation. Between generic software that is cheap and does not solve the problem, and the bespoke project that costs too much and never reaches production, a great many companies have nothing in between.

That gap in between is our work. We take real business processes and turn them into tools people genuinely use, with timelines and costs stated up front rather than discovered halfway through.

We cover the whole chain: analysis, design, development, launch, hosting and support. A single technical counterpart, who answers both when the project goes well and when something breaks — and it is the second part that defines a supplier.

Method

Four phases, no surprises.

The same path for a complex management system or a small marketing site, at different depths. The goal does not change: find out early whether we are building the right thing.

  1. 01

    Analysis

We meet the people who will use the software, not only the people commissioning it, because the two almost always describe different processes. We map the current flow, the constraints and the integrations needed, and produce a document with scope, priorities and an estimate.

  2. 02

    Design

We define the architecture, the shape of the data, the interface and the main flows. You see and approve the structure before the final code is written, while changing your mind is still cheap.

  3. 03

    Development

Short cycles with frequent releases to a test environment that is always open to you. Every release is a feature you can try with your own hands, not a percentage on a progress sheet.

  4. 04

    Operation

Assisted launch, training for the people involved, monitoring, backups and maintenance. From there the software evolves with the company, at its pace.

Commitments

Clarity before the quote

Before talking numbers we put in writing what will be built and what stays out. A clear scope protects both sides far better than a discount, and it keeps the difficult conversations to a minimum once work is under way.

No technology hostage-taking

Source code, data and infrastructure access belong to the client company. If one day you decide to change supplier you genuinely can, and knowing that changes how the two sides work together.

Quality you notice three years later

We write software meant to be picked up, read and changed by people who did not write it. Savings made today by cutting corners here always get paid back, with interest.

We also say no

If a request adds no value, or a tool already covers it at a tenth of the cost, we say so before signing. We would rather have one project less than an unhappy client.

Confidentiality and data

We handle our clients' data, and their users' data, under European regulation, with particular care whenever a project touches sensitive information.

Present after launch

Delivery is not the end of the relationship. Monitoring, maintenance and evolution are part of how we plan a project from day one, not a quote that turns up unannounced six months later.
