Cookie Policy

This site uses the bare minimum: no profiling cookies, no analytics, no advertising trackers. Below is the complete list of what gets stored on your device.

Last updated: September 2026

Cookies and equivalent technologies

Cookies are small text files a site saves on a visitor's device. Alongside them sit technologies that achieve the same thing, such as the browser's local storage, which keeps information on the device without sending it back with every request.

Italian law — article 122 of the Privacy Code and the supervisory authority's guidelines of 10 June 2021 — treats the two alike. What matters is not the technology but the purpose: whether the thing is needed to deliver the service you asked for, or serves something else.

What this site stores

Banner preference. Key livenbit.cookie-choice, saved in the browser's local storage. It records the choice you made on the banner so it is not shown again on every page. It stays on your device until you clear the site's data, has no automatic expiry, and is never sent to our servers.

That is the only thing this site writes to your device. No session cookie, no analytics cookie, no third-party cookie.

What this site does not do

It does not use Google Analytics or any other traffic measurement tool.

It sets no advertising pixels, builds no profiles, and shares nothing with ad networks.

It embeds no third-party video, maps or social widgets, which would be able to read cookies of their own from your browser.

The logos of the services we integrate with are vector drawings served from our own domain: opening that page makes no call to their owners.

Managing your preferences

Since nothing beyond the technical item described above is in use, no prior consent is required and there is nothing to switch off in order to browse the site.

You can still clear what has been stored at any time, from your browser settings under website data, by removing the data for this domain.

Should measurement tools or third-party components be introduced later, the banner will go back to asking for prior consent and this page will be updated before they are switched on.
